A CHRISTMAS CAROL – 6th Annual Press Release – Ready for you to distribute

Our first Press Release announcing this year’s performance of A CHRISTMAS CAROL is ready for distribution.  I will be submitting it to the local newspapers, but cast members (and everyone else too) are invited to distribute the press release to their friends, church bulletins, to post on bulletin boards (along with a copy of our poster), etc.  It has been the involvement of the cast with “getting the word out” which has helped us raise over $16,760 for local area food shelves.  With luck this year we will break the $20,000 mark for our six years of effort and enjoyment.

last week’s rehearsals went very, very nicely – Tara and I are pleased.  Many of you are already “off-book” and have a grasp of your blocking.
 
This coming week I will be writing the program brochure to go to the printer on November 25th.  At rehearsal please look at your names as I have them in the Cast List and correct any mistakes I have made, or indicate how you want your name to appear.  Then initial to the left so I know that you have checked the list.  I will remind you as we begin rehearsal.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL has been CAST for our 6th Annual Production 2013

And a separate page has been set up for information for cast members.  You can see that link in the top right corner of the page, and you will find the rehearsal schedule, stave breakdown, and much more.

A number of our cast members are already followers of The Walpole Players’ website and will automatically get notices such as this one.  I have also  invited all the new cast members to also “sign-up.”  That way if we have to get information out it can go by email instead of Tara and I having to make almost 50 phone calls.  So, encourage your fellow cast members (and other friends) to “sign-up” to follow our site.

It is a great cast, Tara and I are thrilled to have so many new people join us this year — and it is now “full-steam ahead” as it is said.
