BACK BY POPULAR ACCLAIM — RADIO FOLLIES will be aired again on March 15, 2014 — watch this page for details as they develop.

The information below details our first airing in 2013

Something new to look forward to as the winter continues on will be a fun packed variety evening presented  by The Walpole Players on Saturday March 23rd.    Everyone is invited to arrive starting at 6:30 and you may bring your own beverages, snacks or even dinner to settle in by a radio on your table prior to the “players” going on the air at 7PM.  Tickets, priced at $5, will be available in mid-February.

You will be carried back to the 1930s, 40s, and 50s listening to the announcer introducing such favorites as Amos and Andy, Gunsmoke, the Bickersons, Jack Benny and Burns and Allen just to name a few shows along with their classic commercials and musical accompaniments.  The stage will be set as the radio studio complete with an authentic period sound effects table.  And as you enjoy your beverages and goodies you can watch the action as it is broadcast.  Guaranteed to be a grand experience, and maybe a new tradition, mark your calendars, and plan to attend on March 23rd.

  1. Yes, I am always happy to set tickets aside at the door to save people a trip to get tickets. Just give me a call at 603 756-4545 with the number you would like set aside. Thank you, RAY

    • Sadly somehow we overlooked location on the poster. Our performances are held at the Walpole Town Hall (on the common) in the Helen Miller Theater on the second floor. Enter through the north doorway and come up the stairs, yours, RAY
